By downloading, installing, or using Tight Studio ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to use the Application.

Tight Studio is a professional screen recording and video editing desktop application for macOS. The Application provides:

3. License and Usage Rights

3.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

Tight Studio offers both free and paid subscription plans:

• Pro Plan (Monthly/Yearly): Full access to all features

4.2 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

4.3 Refund Policy

• Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months
• Yearly subscriptions: Pro-rated refunds available within 30 days of purchase
• Refunds are at our sole discretion for exceptional circumstances

4.4 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No partial refunds for unused time in the current billing period

5. User Content and Rights

5.1 Your Content

• You retain all rights to content you create using the Application
• You are solely responsible for your content and its legality
• We do not claim ownership of any content you create

5.2 Content Restrictions

You agree not to create or distribute content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Is defamatory, threatening, or harassing

6. Privacy and Data Protection

• Authentication and subscription data is stored securely
• Screen recordings and projects remain on your local device

• Supabase: For authentication and data storage
• Sentry: For optional crash reporting (production builds only)

• Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

• The Application will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected
• The Application will meet your requirements

10.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APPLICATION IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Application at any time.

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• At our sole discretion with 30 days' notice

Upon termination:

• You must cease all use and delete all copies
• Subscription fees are non-refundable
• Provisions that should survive will remain in effect

You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations. You may not use or export the Application in violation of U.S. export laws or regulations.
